The Write Dude is Philip McIntosh. His work appears in print and on the web under the byline N. D. P. McIntosh.
Philip has more than thirty years of experience in science and industry and he enjoys putting that experience to use in his writing. His work has appeared in scientific journals, popular science magazines, trade journals, and on websites dealing with science and technology.
Philip holds a B.Sc. in Botany and Chemistry (double major, cum laude), and a masters in Biological Science. Areas of specialization include botany, mycology, biochemistry, light and electron microscopy, hydroponics, machine tools, process and reliability engineering, analytical instrumentation, and math and science education.
When not otherwise occupied, he might be found working on all sorts of things in his office/lab/workshop. Or, you might catch him playing bass and guitar with the Colorado-based rock band Permanent Guests.
